My new monster 900

This page shows my new ride, a Monster 900 -97.

This bike is "slightly" modified compared with my old bike...

The bike is very fun in the street and more fun on a racetrack!

This is what it looks like, my old little Monster.. cute, but too small..

I had to leave before my friends even woke up to be there at the same time..hehe

But I tried it on the racetrack 2 times, and it worked just well, except all hypersports speeding by me straight forward..

This is what it looked like on Knutstorp ring 28th may this year..

As you can see I had to get a new bike that doesn't hit the ground as soon as the road turns a bit...

This was the first racetrack driving for me, and it was so fun!!

The trip back home was not fun, the entire body shaked and hurt... no more driving to the track!

So here it is finally, my new ride... A monster 900 -97 in the background you can see Fidde's 748!

This pic is taken a few days after I bought it...

A pic from behind, just as most people get to see it live...hehe note the small exhaust.. gives the perfect sound!

The Rennsport tires works very well on the racetrack, and the 996 brakes also..

Here I am on the bike.. 996 fork with all good that comes with it.. a motocross lamp saves weight..

The lamp shall be painted during the winter.. maybe I get some new footpegs also..

A pic from Knutstorp ring again, but now from 17/9 and the Swedish Ducati clubs final racetrackday this year..

Note the small bicyclecomputer I use as speedo... works sometimes...hehe

And yes, I know it's like HP to have the ignition key on the left side...

A view from the other side.. with the bandage taken off the exhaust...

Note the rims... isn't it just like candy!!??

Another pic from the right side... note the blue Fren-Tubo's...

My friends says that I shoot flames when motorbreaking... so cool...hehe specially in the dark..!

The front tire after some driving...

The rear Metzeler Rennsport supersoft after some "fun" driving... remindes me of chewing gum..hehe

They don't last long.. but there are people who lives to do tires.. so keep going!!

This is what the exhaust looked like with the bandage on.. and fresh polished.. the booring wintertime is saved!!

And no, I don't make flower pots...

The "Höna" rim with chain etc new mounted and still looks well...

The "cockpit"... speaks for it self.. this bike is just for fun, not for going shopping....hmm I wonder how fast I'm going??

Here there also is a few things to fix... a little carbonboard where the ignition used to be.. speedo etc..

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from the track while driving, but there will be next summer!!
